Building a generation of webmakers. Hackasaurus makes it easy for youth to learn about, explore and make stuff on the Web. Together we're building a set of kid-friendly tools, local "hack jam" events around the world, online games at hackasaurus.org, and a set of badges that help young webmakers earn achievements and level up. The result: empowering youth to see the Web as something they actively shape and make themselves, taking charge of their online lives and using the Web as a platform for their own creativity and self-expression.
Hackasaurus tools like X-Ray Goggles make it easy for anyone to uncover and mess around with the building blocks of everyday web pages, remixing elements to gain an understanding of how they work. Hackasaurus "hack jam" events make the experience guided, social and fun, working in partnership with libraries, learning centers and other community spaces to bring kids together in a flexible curriculum of hands-on making, learning and sharing.
